I have been using CCleaner for a long time now and I like all of its features (pc clean, registry clean, uninstall programs, duplicate finder, system restore point manager, startup and context menu items manager), but recently I started disliking it more and more as the new updates were coming in (they added a ton of features that I couldnt use because I used free version). It is opensource and also comes with registry check, after uninstalling a software. Its just txt data, wont take any space from your PC, and unused registry entries will stay unused, so nothing to worry about.įor uninstalling Softwares I recommend BCUninstaller. And to be honest, there is no much need of cleaning it. So I would not allow any registry cleaner to touch my registry. A wrong step, and you can accidently mess up your whole system. I would actually dont touch registry cleaners. As Chomu_ aready mentioed, for cleaning Bleachbit is recommended.
