I was advised that the software is still not supported yet and there engineers are almost done but, it would work by utilizing Apples Rosetta2 software (that's the Apple software that converts the instruction set from Apple silicon to Intel instructions). NOTE: Superior Drummer 3 is not yet formally supported for Apple silicon so I opened a support ticket with Toontrack for a status.

Thanks Chris Jenkins for your hours of work on my behalf to getting the best stuff for me. If you've been considering this software (like I did for a few years), get it. Tons of videos available online for you to check that out though. I haven't even messed with the audio to midi feature, so I can't comment on that. Steven Slate Drums (which are also phenomenal) are 2nd for cymbal sound/feel (and they were #1 for me til I got to using this). I don't love all the kits, but there are some great ones included and the cymbals! DUUUUUDE THE CYMBALS are fantastic! Best response I've gotten out of a VST for drums and giving me solid hi hat sound and feel. The built in mixer and the ability to add plugins and affect the drums before they even leave the plugin is fantastic. I have used several brands and packages of drum samples ranging from products Sweetwater sells and other websites as well.
